Nathanial Wendt started in the hair industry 27 years ago assisting A Sassoon trained stylists in an Illinois salon. In the fall of 1998 he attended The Aveda Institute of Minneapolis where he excelled in short hair grooming. After completing his hours, he assisted Horst Rechelbacher in creating model content for Intelligent Nutrients. In 1999 he joined a high end salon in the Twin Cities, managing locations and educating as an Artistic Director. During his 25 years with this salon, he continued his education through traveling, taking advanced courses, and creating class curriculums. He served five years on the Board of Beauty Certified Education Association, a non-profit and education resource center available to everyone in the industry.

He has created the Craft Hair Collective Salon out of his love for hair, artists who share the same passion and those who want to share what they have learned and experienced with all who possess the drive to progress in their craft.

He loves working with short hair from fades to razored pixies and bobs of all lengths.
